I solve problems through product thinking and empathy in design
Hey, I’m Bo Scott Pu
I’m an empathetic product designer and creative strategist based in New York City. Most recently I worked with Wunderman Thompson, a creative agency under WPP. I designed products for a number of different clients including ConEd, Yankee Candle, and Walmart.
Previously I have worked on projects with various themes such as real estate, video games, AI, and virtual reality. I’ve also worked at a cryptocurrency startup, which required me to wear a lot of different hats and helped develop my product strategy skills. I always like to keep on top of current trends and stay on the edge of new technologies and I’m always up for a new industry to explore.
Why I love what I do
In turn, I’ve always been able to relate to people very quickly and instinctively empathize with people on both a business and personal level. User Experience design was a natural career path for me, as I’ve always been very interested in how products affected people and how I could create experiences that truly addressed people’s needs - otherwise known as human-centric design.
I love working with designers, engineers, and business teams to ensure that my designs are user centric as well as healthy for the bottom line.
